A video of Assistant State Attorney Francine Edwards holding an assault rifle while questioning former NFL player Travis Rudolph in his murder trial is going viral.

In the video, Edwards holds the rifle in a box while she questions Rudolph about using the weapon the night of a fatal shooting outside his Lake Park home two years ago. At one point, the judge chuckles while telling Edwards, "Keep that...put that down." Edwards then asks the judge, "Is it scary, judge," to which he responds, "And, flip it around so that the muzzle is pointed towards me, not out there towards the jury."

Rudolph, who is charged with murder and three counts of attempted murder, took the stand in his own defense on Monday (June 5) afternoon, and the state rested its case shortly after 4 pm. The jury could begin its deliberations as early as Tuesday morning.
