On the heels of a historic run back to the NBA Finals, Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler is seeking to capitalize on the hype around him and his all-time playoff performance.
Butler, now affectionately referred to as "Himmy Buckets," reportedly filed to trademark the name to launch a series of branded items including coffee, soda, clothing, beer, bottled water, and coffee cups.
As Timothy Rapp of Bleacher Report succinctly explains, "Butler's nickname is Jimmy Buckets, while "he's him" has become a popular meme phrase to describe someone thriving or at the top of their game. Combine the two, and you get "Himmy Buckets."
