Three weeks ago marked the one-year anniversary of the YSL indictment being released to the public. Led by Fulton County's District Attorney, Fani T. Willis, prosecutors came forth with a 56-count indictment claiming that several members of YSL were involved in a long string of murders, armed robberies, auto theft, conspiracies, drug-dealing, witnesses intimidation, and more. As a result, some of the group's most influential names, such as Gunna and Young Thug, were arrested for violating the RICO Act. Gunna has since been released after accepting a guilty plea deal, but the founder of YSL Records, Young Thug, remains behind bars. His father, Jeffrey Williams Sr., recently shared his thoughts regarding the backstory of Fani T. Willis and the tactics she's using behind closed doors to stifle his son's legal battle in what has become one of the most wildly entertaining criminal cases in recent history.

"Fani Willis has been our attorney; she has represented several guys that have been so-called, as they say, 'gang-related,' Williams Sr. claimed. "Once you become district attorney of Fulton County, you come at people as if they are gang-related. You know, so it's a two-headed sword. What side of the sword [are] you going to ride on? You know what I'm saying? You can't be one and then be the other later. That's definitely a conflict. [This is] more personal, and it's personal outside of the law."
