Nike has moved forward with the release of Ja Morant's signature sneaker despite the backlash he is receiving as a result of his second IG Live session where he's flashing a gun.

However, Morant's off the court troubles didn't hurt shoes sales because Nike sold out of his sneaker minutes after it's official release on Thursday. Last week, Morant's shoe was pulled from the Nike site leading many to speculate that Ja would likely be suspended or worse - he'd get the Kyrie treatment.

While those who didn't manage to cop through the Nike SNKRS app, there's still a chance to get them on the resell market for a roughly $90 mark up.
