The backlash against A.I. music within the music industry has found artists like Drake and Ice Cube openly going against the rise of the looming technology. Cube recently said he would sue anyone creating A.I.-generated music that used his voice. Now, Mike Tyson has given his thoughts after hearing an A.I. track featuring the Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur.
While on his ‘Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson’ show, the boxer was chatting with Tony Yayo and DJ Whoo Kid. The conversation found Yayo bringing up A.I., who said, “Let me tell you how ill computers is takin’ over. You ever heard of AI music?”
From there, Yayo said, “Do me a favor: play ‘Many Men’ by 50 Cent, 2Pac, and Biggie.” The trio listened to the song where the voices of 2Pac and Biggie rapped 50 Cent’s lyrics to the prolific song from ‘Get Rich or Die Tryin’.” Tyson seemingly was not with the situation, saying, “That’s f**ked up, bruh.” From there, Mike said, “Woah.” The shock of the track went across the room as Whoo Kid said, “Yo! This is crazy! This is insane. That don’t even make no sense.” Watch above.
