Ja Morant’s latest mishap with him flashing a gun on Instagram Live once again has found everyone commenting on the footage and his suspension. Lil Wayne recently noted he was puzzled by Morant’s behavior, saying “Why is he doing this?” Big U took to Instagram and said the NBA star should be forgiven once again for his mistake. Morant was suspended from all team activities related to the Memphis Grizzlies and took “full accountability” following the incident. However, strippers from the club where the first incident took place say he never apologized.
Dancers from the club where the first incident happened--Shotgun Willie’s in Colorado, spoke to the New York Post and gave their take on Morant.
One dancer told the publication “I don’t foresee an apology [anytime] soon,” before saying she doesn’t think Morant would learn from the incident. From there, she added, “He’s a boy.”
Another dancer said Morant is “clearly begging for attention and trying to be a baller.” She continued saying “He should be banned from all clubs and get his NBA career taken away given our country’s current circumstances on gun violence.” Despite the dancers’ take on Morant, the Post noted that the club owner said that Morant was “exceptionally respectful and sweet.”
