According to reports, one of Moneybagg Yo’s artists—Tripstar, was allegedly involved in a shooting that left one person dead after they attempted to rob the rapper.
Memphis Police noted the shooting happened outside of the Tug’s Casual Grill in Mud Island. The Memphis Police Department responded to an attempted robbery after 7:30 PM on May 13. , and noted they didn’t find a shooting victim at the scene.
However, police ended up finding a man with gunshot wounds at a fire station on Second Street. According to investigators, the victim of the shooting was involved in the incident that happened at Tug’s. The man later died at the hospital. Another victim was taken to the hospital for a medical problem not related to the shooting. Police say two suspects were seen fleeing from the scene in a Black Nissan. Stay tuned for more updates.
