According to reports, a scantily clad woman is being accused of stealing $600,000 worth of jewelry from a man in Miami she had just met.
The two apparently met at The Dirty Rabbit bar in Wynwood on May 8 when the unidentified woman was invited back to the man's place around 5:30 a.m. The woman subsequently drugged him by slipping something in his drink, knocking him out for the night.
When the man woke up around noon later that day he found that his safe containing jewelry and other valuables was gone and so was the woman. Among the stolen items were a Rolex Daytona Rainbow with diamonds and a Sky-Dweller Rolex. Police say other items such as a gold chain, Franco Gold bracelets, Cartier sunglasses and a rose gold diamond ring were also stolen from the safe.
Surveillance footage from the man's building shows the woman leaving with a Solo cup in hand. “Now sometimes you might say, ‘Oh, well she’s just leaving with a Solo cup.’ No. She’s taking the Solo cup that she drank because it has her DNA. She’s taking his Solo cup because it has not only his DNA, but it also has whatever drugs she put in,” said Miami Police Department Officer Michael Vega.
Miami Police are still investigating to identify the suspect.
