Just days after his second gun incident and suspension from the NBA, Ja Morant’s Hunger Ja 1 sneakers are no longer listed on the Nike or Finish Line apps as of Thursday (May 18). The popular sneakers were released nearly a month today, but it appears as though the company has unlisted them on the site as of now.
Ja signed an endorsement deal with Nike in 2019, and other merchandise, including Morant t-shirts, are still available on Nike. However, Morant’s latest Ja 1 "Hunger" colorway is still listed in the "Upcoming" section of Nike's website.
The Grizzlies officially suspended Morant on Sunday after he was seen flashing a gun while listening to music on Instagram Live. He was previously suspended for eight games in March after flashing a gun in a Colorado strip club while on Instagram Live.
