Famed battle rapper Murda Mook recently appeared on The Danza Project podcast, where he spoke about being one of the pioneers in the game. During a clip making the rounds online, Murda Mook reveals that several rappers have taken bars from his various battles.
One rapper in particular that Mook named was Lloyd Banks, and he explained that while he and Lloyd are cool, he did talk to the New York rapper about stealing his bars.
"Lloyd Banks is my guy, but he took two of my bars. I told him. He know, he know it. But, nevertheless, y’all can find it later. Find the bars later. Blue is just nice regardless, though. I’m not saying it’s like that. He probably thought, 'Nobody gon' see this battle rap sh*t, right?'"
The clip caught the attention of Banks, who left a comment on The Hip-Hop Wolf's Instagram post, where he shared a single "cap" emoji.
