Rolling Stone recently released a list focused on the 100 greatest West Coast hip-hop songs. The list has sparked much debate among fans and artists, and E-40 recently gave his take on the list via social media, making it clear he wasn’t a fan of having one of his massive hits get excluded from the list.
40 Water spoke on his hit song “Tell Me When to Go,” a track from his album ‘My Ghetto Report Card.” Via Twitter, 40 posted a video of his song “Captain Save a Ho” being included at number 18 on the list, thanking Rolling Stone. However, he then called them out for excluding “Tell Me When to Go.”
“Hey @RollingStone, appreciate you guys for including 'Captain Save A Hoe' at No. 18 of your 100 Greatest West Coast Hip-Hop Songs of All Time, but there’s no excuse for “Tell Me When To Go” being completely left off the list😤,” said the rapper and wine mogul. The rapper then referred to his song as “timeless.” Take a look above.
