In this clip, Vlad started off speaking to Robert “Kool” Bell about “Kool & The Gang” dropping “Wild & Peaceful” and their career going to a new level. Robert explained that the label was speaking to them about having regional hits, and they wanted them to work with a new producer, which they declined. A short while later, they recorded “Jungle Boogie,” “Funky Stuff,” and “Hollywood Swinging,” some of their most legendary songs. Vlad then pointed out other hits that the group made, including “Summer Madness” and “Jungle Jazz,” one of the most sampled songs of all time.
