According to reports, a shooting in downtown Louisville, KY left multiple people dead with several others wounded. 

Local authorities confirmed that at least five people were killed in the shooting with "at least" six others sustaining non-fatal gunshot wounds. Police say the gunman reportedly had a connection to the location, possibly as a current or former employee. Witnesses say the shooter entered a board meeting and opened fire with police receiving calls about the shooter around 8:30 AM local time. 

“This is happening around the country in a city daily,” said Rep. Keturah Herron of Kentucky. “Today was our turn in Louisville, KY. As we hold our community tighter there must be outrage and anger. We live in a war zone and we shouldn’t have to.”
