Comedian Tony Rock recently appeared on BigBoyTV and spoke to the radio personality about his brother Chris Rock being slapped by Will Smith. While Tony was vocal about the incident in the past, the comedian revealed a new bit of information about what Smith claimed he did following the slap.
Previously, it was rumored that Will Smith reached out to Chris Rock following slapping him at the Academy Awards. However, Tony Rock says that wasn’t the case at all. “That wasn’t true, that wasn’t true,” said Rock. He continued, “I think like, two nights later, he said, ‘I reached out to Chris, and he didn’t want to talk.’ That wasn’t true.”
Tony Rock and Will smith used to be friends, and Rock said, “He doesn’t owe me anything, I just thought we were better than that.” He continued saying, “My phone number has never changed. So, I just thought I’d get a phone call one day like, ‘Ay, let’s just you and I just talk.’ It hasn’t happened, so I guess it’s not going to happen.” Watch above.
