According to reports, Kanye West and Yeezy were sued by a former employee named Dora Szilagyi, who claims West and his brand owe her $275,000.
Court documents that surfaced via TMZ show that Szilagyi was brought on as the “Director of Product Innovation” in June 2021. However, the onboarding only arrived after West convinced Dora to leave her position at Adidas to do full-time work for Yeezy. Szilagyi claims she was promised $275,000 for severance pay if she was let go from her job without cause after September 2, 2021. The woman says she was never paid after being let go in December 2021.
The former Adidas employee says she doesn’t think West or Yeezy had plans to issue any severance package, only using the stipulation to pinch her from the sneaker company. Stay tuned for more updates.
