Earlier this month, it was revealed that Jay-Z’s net worth jumped 40 percent following a Tidal deal and deal with LVMH. Now, the rapper-turned-mogul is now reportedly worth $2.5 billion, according to Forbes.
The rapper sold 50% of his stake in D’ussé cognac back to Bacardi, who serves as the parent company of the liquor brand. The move came after Hov and Bacardi got into a court scuffle, which resulted in the rapper making the sale of his stake to Bacardi for $750 million.
Hov’s venture into being a billionaire has made him the 1,203rd richest person in the world.
