In this clip, former Wah China gang member Johnny Chang reflects back on his reputation as a thief before detailing getting jumped for the first time during his adolescence in San Gabriel Valley, California. He explains that upon returning home from the incident, his father also beat him that very same day. This occurrence greatly impacted the way Johnny viewed family as he soon turned to street life. From there, he talks about living in various housing projects in Los Angeles County and the verbal abuse that he endured from his father while growing up.
