Yung Joc recently sat down for an interview on The Hollywood Groupchat, where he was asked, "How have you been able to sustain a 20-year career off of one hit?"
Joc looked puzzled, and quickly interjected, stating, "Well, I got more than one hit. I got hit records," which led to the interviewer asking, "Ohhh, tell me about 'em!"
While Yung Joc's hit song "It's Goin' Down" is one of his biggest songs, as it peaked at number 1 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart for eight weeks after its release in 2006. Both this track and "I Know You See It" both earned Platinum RIAA certification in 2006 for selling 1 million albums.
The following year, Yung Joc landed another huge hit after being featured on T-Pain's "Buy U a Drank (Shawty Snappin')," which was Joc's first number 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100. The song also broke a record for being the only single in the history of the Hot 100 to spend time in each of the top 10 positions during its run.
Other hit songs Yung Joc has been featured on include David Banner's "Get Like Me," Slim's "So Fly," and "Beep" by Bobby V.
