For several decades, one of the biggest mysteries concerning the American public has been the existence of extraterrestrial life. Numerous sightings, debatable physical evidence, and alleged "abduction" stories involving aliens, the CIA, the FBI, and U.S. Armed Forces have only added to the public's speculation over the years.
As UFO sightings continued to pile worldwide, France made files regarding the unexplained phenomenon available to the public in the late 2000s. Government officials from countries such as Canada and Japan followed suit in the following decades. The Pentagon recently revealed there is a strong possibility that an alien mothership previously entered our solar system before sending out probes to conduct research. Ironically enough, last weekend, R&B star Ashanti released footage via Instagram stories suggesting that she and her film crew witnessed a UFO sighting during a video shoot in the state capital of California.
“Oooommmgggg!!!” Wrote the iconic singer-songwriter. “We saw this in the middle of filming out here in Sacramento!!! WTFFFFF.”
While the footage that Ashanti shared isn't conclusive, the flying patterns displayed by the object are far from ordinary. This incident is one of many eyewitness accounts that have been shared, stateside, as the United States of America currently ranks #5 in the world in UFO sightings (behind Australia, France, Argentina, and Canada).
