Donald Trump recently took to his social media platform Truth Social and revealed that he would be arrested this upcoming Tuesday (March 21). "THE FAR & AWAY LEADING REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE AND FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WILL BE ARRESTED ON TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK. PROTEST, TAKE OUR NATION BACK!" said Trump.
Following Trump’s post, a spokesperson for the former president issued a statement saying, “President Trump is rightfully highlighting his innocence and the weaponization of our injustice system.” Trump’s announcement comes on the heels of a “possible indictment” he is facing, which his spokesperson says there has been “no notification” of.
