Timothy Bliefnick, 39, of Quincy, Ilinois, was arrested on Monday (March 13)  and charged with murder in the home-invasion death of his wife, Rebecca, 41, after her bullet-riddled body was found after she failed to pick up their three kids from school on February 23.

The couple had been married since 2009, but they were estranged and in the middle of a divorce when Rebecca was killed. According to KHQA, Rebecca had filed restraining orders against Timothy and his father before she was murdered.

Amid the shocking news, Timothy's 2020 appearance on "Family Feud" has resurfaced. Timothy, who appeared on the show with his parents and siblings, answered Steve Harvey's question, "What's your biggest mistake you made at your wedding?"

After his answer drew gasps and laughs from the crowd, Timothy responded, "Honey, I love you, but, 'said I do.'" He then added, "Not my mistake, not my mistake — I love my wife. I'm gonna get in trouble for that, aren't I?"

Timothy's "Family Feud" answer is now drawing scrutiny amid the news of his arrest. His attorney, Casey Schnack, responded to the criticism, stating, ""t's a game show. A silly answer to a silly question on a silly show doesn't make one a murderer."

Timothy has maintained his innocence in the murder of his wife. A hearing was scheduled for Wednesday to determine where the couple's three sons could be placed following their mother's death and father's incarceration.
