Trae Tha Truth has been a help to his community during more challenging times in Texas, and the rapper has even received a Congressional Hero Award from the U.S. Congress. Despite his efforts, the rapper and philanthropist was seemingly profiled by airport officers following getting off a flight from Los Angeles. 

Trae took to Instagram to post footage of him being approached and harassed by airport officers with a drug-sniffing dog in the background. “It's Crazy, I Just landed at 6am From LA and out of all Tha people in tha Airport These Officers Decided to Profile me Like I ain't see what they was doing,” said the rapper via the caption of his Instagram post. Trae went on to explain the police threw a dog toy near him so their dog could have an excuse to go by and sniff his bag. 

“Then the dog walk off and they ask me do i Got Dope In My Bag 🤬 Out of Hundreds of people his a** wanna pick me lol, He got tha right one Today… He thought it was gon' be his moment to shine; Imma Help Him Get tha attention and recognition he need,” said Trae.

The rapper concluded by saying, “Askin me do I Got Dope, Look how he search tha bag…. Harassing, Discrimination and Profiling… S**t Got me Hot…. If U Know him Or How to find him off the badge number he said at tha beginning.” Take a look at the exchange above.
