Earlier reports noted that Ja Morant might be facing a much longer suspension from the NBA--a possibility of 50 games, following the Grizzlies player flashing a gun while on Instagram Live. Now, it appears the police in Colorado are getting involved.

The Glendale Police Department in Colorado issued a statement on the Morant situation via a spokesperson, saying police “have confirmed the incident took place at a bar in Glendale” before saying, “We are investigating the matter.”

The police are referencing the strip club Morant allegedly attended when he recorded the video flashing the weapon. As of now, Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins noted there isn’t a set time for Morant to return to the team. Stay tuned for more updates.
