In 2022, rapper Bankroll Freddie was accused of drug trafficking after being arrested in Arkansas for drug and gun charges. The rapper demanded that he get his jewelry back that was seized from the arrest. Since then, more news about Freddie’s situation has surfaced, alleging that the rapper’s family was a part of his drug operation.

Via Arkansas Online, it was reported that Freddie’s father Freddie Gladney denied bond on February 28, with officials alleging they heard Gladney in wiretaps speaking about drugs and weapons with his sons while orchestrating drug deals with his daughter.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Joe Volpe spoke about why he denied bond for Gladney, saying, “I do believe in the presumption of innocence. But the wire cases really bring a new facet to the analysis and the strength of the case, and you really get to hear about what's going on and understand what's going on with an individual.”

A release plan for Gladney was constructed by his lawyer Robert Golden and presented to Judge Volpe. According to Volpe, the plan was “suitable” but was denied because “there were no conditions that would ensure Gladney would not continue selling drugs remotely through others under his control.”

News of this comes after Gladney was previously indicted in November 2022 on weapons and drug conspiracy charges.
