According to reports, an aspiring rapper named La’Darion Chandler (19) has been arrested by Polk County Sheriffs for the fatal shooting of John McGee (33), following a heated verbal dispute in the "Pirates Way" area of Lakewood, Florida.
The shooter and the victim have both been categorized as gang affiliated. On the streets, McGee was known as "Bang Bang." He served a four-year prison bid in the Fall before being shot in the back by La'Darion. Although McGee was rushed to the hospital before doctors announced their expectations for a full recovery, his health deteriorated when he declined proper medical care. Therefore, he passed away 24 days after being shot.
In the three and a half weeks leading up to his death, McGee refused to cooperate with law enforcement regarding the assailant. However, Deputies were able to tie the "Hardcore criminal" to the murder due to the discovery of numerous social media posts and a music video where La'Darion reportedly bragged about the killing. Following the revelation, La'Darion was charged with first-degree murder.
