Rumors are swirling about Latto and Doechii getting into an altercation at the 2023 Billboard Women in Music event on Wednesday (March 1) night.

Doechii was honored with an award for "Rising Star," and in her speech, she praised past winners, including Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga and Janelle Monae. She added, "This is a huge, huge stamp, and I’m really proud of myself."

Later, Chlöe Bailey presented Latto with the "Powerhouse Award," calling the "Big Energy" rapper "a force to be reckoned with," "an icon for young women everywhere," and "the personification of a powerhouse." During her acceptance speech, Latto also named the previous winners, but social media users thought she intentionally left out Nicki Minaj.

Latto later responded to the claims on Twitter by posting all of the previous winners, and Nicki wasn't on the list. She captioned the post, "Y’all arms not sore yet from all that REACHING???????!!!" Latto also shared a clip of her red carpet interview, where she praised Doechii and spoke about being excited for her performance. Doechii has yet to respond to the rumors.
