Method Man has been diving into the acting world for quite some time, with the artist playing a reoccurring role in ‘Power Book II: Ghost’ alongside Mary J. Blige and others. Since then, Method Man won an NAACP Image Award for his role on ‘Power,’ which sparked a reaction from showrunner 50 Cent.
Via Instagram, 50 said, “@methodmanofficial is no joke, he was always #1 in Wu Tang to me but he has transitioned into something that has to be celebrated. This train won’t stop, shout out to @naacp for recognizing and the ZARS network.” Method Man commented on the win himself, saying, “rd times the charm.. another win for the team.. naacp image award winner..
