Recently, Latto spoke to Billboard, and during her conversation, she revealed she doesn’t charge upcoming female artists for features. “My number one thing has been being a girl’s girl. I utilize my power in uplifting others on my way up. When you see Latto do a feature with an upcoming female rapper, I don’t charge them. The label got to cover the glam, but I don’t profit off that,” said Latto.

However, Kodak Black’s artist VVSNCE has spoken out about Latto’s comments, saying the artist refused to collaborate with her. While on Instagram, VVSNCE posted The Shade Room’s post about Latto along with her own caption, saying, “Everybody keep taggin’ me in this s**t, idc ’bout no feature from her or nobody else.” She continued, “She did do that lame [s**t] tho, ‘I don’t work with new female artists,’ was her EXACT words. That’s the real reason she was mad at Yak! She had to pay for that song on her album ‘cuz she ain’t wanna do a song with me.”

Since then, Latto has fired back by DMing VVSNCE, explaining what really happened with the Kodak Black situation that she previously alluded to last year. “I was told to come to his party in order to clear the verse first I said no & then they said a verse for an artist on his label of his choice & I said no. My lawyer got the proposal on paper word for word. Ion even know you.” Take a look above.
