The rapper, unfortunately, passed away following a battle with COVID-19 in 2020, which led the city to turn Leggett Avenue into “Frederick ‘Fred The Godson’ Thomas Avenue. Fat Joe, Sway, and more made appearances and spoke about the impact of the Bronx emcee during the ceremony. Now, it has been revealed that a mural was created in memory of the late rapper.
The mural of Fred The Godson was unveiled by his daughters, who posed in front of the mural of their late father. A video of the unveiling was posted via Fred’s Instagram, along with the caption, “Daddy we love you and miss you so much… we will never let them forget about you…. You are a LEGEND daddy, and we are so proud to be your daughters.” Take a look above.
