Recently, it was revealed that Malik Beasley, the ex of Larsa Pippen, would be joining the Los Angeles Lakers. This means that Beasley would be playing on the same team as Larsa’s son Scotty Pippen Jr.
Since then, Cam’Ron and Mase have reacted to the news about Larsa Pippen’s son. While on his ‘It Is What It Is’ show, Cam, and Mase were asked what they thought about Beasley and Pippen being on the same squad, given the past circumstances between Pippen’s mother and Beasley.
Cam went on to say “S**t f**ked up. What the f**k is you doing, Rob Pelinka? You have to do this due diligence before you get n***as on the team.” After Cam called out the Lakers’ general manager, Mase said Beasley’s trade to the team is “a destruction to the locker room.”
Cam’Ron chimed in with more thoughts, saying usually, teams do background checks on NBA players to see if they had issues with the law or if they were on drugs. However, they didn’t check to see if a player “boned another n***a’s mother.” Watch above.

With hours left until the NBA trade deadline, the Lakers acquired Malik Beasley from the Jazz, which means Beasley will be playing with Scotty Pippen Jr.
Beasley made headlines back in 2020 when he was romanticly linked to 22-year-old Scotty's mom, Larsa Pippen. Beasley's wife, Montana Yao, stated that Malik and Larsa's relationship blindsided her, and while they filed for divorce, Malik and Montana reconciled. Malik and Montana welcomed a baby girl named Mia, who joined big brother Makai.
Malik publicly apologized to his wife after he and Larsa broke up in April 2021, writing in an Instagram post, "I wana say sorry for putting you in the situation you were put in the last few months."
