Russell Westbrook recently spent a good portion of this season playing for the Los Angeles Lakers. There have been varying opinions about the explosive player’s time with the Lakers, with some saying he wasn’t a fit

Westbrook made strides with the team after coming off the bench, but the Lakers seemingly opted to go in another direction with the star player. Westbrook ended up being traded to the Utah Jazz, who bought out his contract. Now, it appears Westbrook has decided on his next team destination.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Westbrook is set to head to the Los Angeles Clippers. The team has a good roster with Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and more, but they recently traded John Wall. As a result, Westbrook could fill in the blanks and gain some wins for the squad while avoiding the glaring spotlight on his style of play that came with being a Laker.

“After finalizing a contract buyout with the Utah Jazz, nine-time All-Star guard Russell Westbrook plans to sign with the Los Angeles Clippers,” said Wojnarowski, which Westbrook’s agent confirmed to ESPN. Stay tuned for more updates.
