According to reports, Vince McMahon is seeking to sell the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) for a staggering $9 billion.

There are currently several suitors, including Endeavor Group Holdings who currently owns the UFC, and wealthy Middle Eastern investors.

McMahon, 77, sat at the helm of the WWE for 40 years building it into the pro-wrestling powerhouse it is today. However, he stepped down as CEO last June due to hush money allegations which promoted his daughter Stephanie McMahon into the CEO role. But Stephanie walked away from the company in January after her father returned to his post, at which point he made it clear he wanted to sell.

Much to McMahon's delight, WWE stock is up as shares in the company have shot up by 30% in anticipation of new ownership.
