Rolling Stone released a list that is sure to be controversial, as it lays out the "50 Genuinely Horrible Albums by Brilliant Artists."

Some of the biggest-selling artists of all time made the list, including Madonna, with her 2003 album, American Life, coming in at #26. Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, and John Lennon also made the list, along with Prince, David Bowie, and Elvis Presley, who are arguably some of the most beloved artists of all time. Lil Wayne also made the list for 2010's "Rebirth."

However, the number one spot went to Kanye for his 2018 release, Ye, which Rolling Stone said marked "the beginning of the most disastrous artistic and personal collapse in the history of popular music." The publication pointed out that the 23-minute album came around the time that Kanye began getting lambasted for his public remarks, including TMZ that "slavery was a choice."
