A man was killed in Palmdale, California on Tuesday (February 14) evening after being accidentally run over by a woman while allegedly trying to steal the catalytic converter from her truck.
According to police, the woman was sleeping in her truck when she was awakened by a sawing noise underneath of the vehicle. When she backed out of her parking space, the woman said she felt a bump, and when she looked to see what she ran over, she saw the man underneath of her truck.
The woman then called 911, and when authorities arrived, they saw the man underneath the vehicle, and he was rushed to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. It was also revealed that three other suspects, a man and two women, who were in a car parked next to the truck, were taken into custody.
