Update 02/07/2023 10:41am:
Recently, DJ Drama sparked a debate after saying, “I think it’s fair to say that ‘I Just Wanna Rock’ has replaced — with all due respect — [Meek Mill’s] ‘Dreams and Nightmares’ as the new anthem of Philadelphia.” The quote didn’t stop there, with Drama saying, “As the new anthem of the Philadelphia Eagles this year, I’m looking forward to hearing that song many, many times Super Bowl weekend.” Now, Uzi has reacted to Drama’s statement, saying he doesn’t think that’s the case.
While speaking to REVOLT at the Grammys, Uzi noted that Meek is a “big homie” and that Meek’s now-iconic “Intro” is still as impactful as when it dropped years ago. When asked if his song “I Just Wanna Rock” was bigger than Meek’s “Dreams & Nightmare Intro,” Uzi said, “I don’t think so.” He continued, “That song like been around for a very long time, and that song is still hitting exactly the same way. I’m just gonna have to see, you know, in a couple of years or a decade or whatever.”
Uzi then spoke about Meek, saying, “…That’s like one of my big homies. So I just like feed off the energy that he gives actually to be able to even produce or put out that type of music. So like, hopefully, like s**t, hopefully. He would hope that for me too. Not yet though it’s too early to tell.” Meek previously responded to Drama, saying, “Intro been lighting the world for 10 years! Like shaking rooms for years!” Take a look above.

DJ Drama stirred controversy after claiming that Lil Uzi Vert's "Just Wanna Rock" has surpassed Meek Mill's "Dreams and Nightmares" as the unofficial song of Philadelphia ahead of the Eagles facing off against the Chiefs in this year's Super Bowl.
Drama told TMZ, "I think it’s fair to say that 'Just Wanna Rock' has replaced — with all due respect — 'Dreams and Nightmares' as the new anthem of Philadelphia, as the new anthem of the Philadelphia Eagles this year. I'm looking forward to hearing that song many, many times [throughout] Super Bowl weekend."
This comes after Uzi walked out the Eagles to his hit song during their NFC Championship game against the 49ers. Meek appeared to respond to DJ Drama on Twitter while speaking about his track, writing, "Intro been lighting the world for 10 years! Like shaking rooms for years!"
