In this clip, Vlad started off by asking Afroman about being called a one-hit wonder and making a song called “One Hit Wonder.” Vlad then pointed out that Afroman’s huge hit “Because I Got High” has been a long-lasting hit that has been featured on TV and in movies. Afroman stated that he’d love to be like Madonna and Michael Jackson, who have dozens of hit records, but he’s thankful for the longevity of his song. Vlad then pointed out that Afroman’s “Palmdale” song sampled Stevie B’s “Spring Love (Come Back to Me),” and Afroman explained that he wrote the song before he had the melody for the song.
