GloRilla’s rise to success found the rapper signing with Yo Gotti and his CMG label, along with the explosion of her “F.N.F.” single. While things have gone upward for her, GloRilla noted in a recent interview that a downside to the success found her having to cut off people close to her because of their entitlement.
The rapper recently spoke with The Cut and talked about her recent schedule along with the people she’s been dealing with. While speaking about keeping up with the constant press she’s done, GloRilla said, “They be on my ass. They be tellin’ me, ‘You still gotta do it. There’s no one else.’”
From there, the rapper candidly talked about how her fame caused a rift between her and some of her people she was close to. “Me blowing up changed a lot. Like 50 percent of my family… I really don’t even care to talk about it,” said GloRilla. She continued saying, “Money change the people around you. It don’t change you, per se. It fasho change people around you, though.”
