In this clip, Bubba Sparxxx continued speaking about working with Timbaland, and Bubba explained that he was a new artist and Timbaland was new at running a label. Bubba added that he was very inexperienced, adding that when he performed on BET and MTV, he had only performed live a few times in his life. Bubba then revealed that Interscope put $6 million behind marketing his first hit, “Ugly,” and he pointed out that the song was a big impact on the culture. From there, Bubba spoke about how he thinks he and Timbaland fell short of their potential while they were working together. He then pointed out that “Ugly” was the first #1 urban radio record for a white rapper, and Bubba added that Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” came out a year later.
