According to reports, blue-chip high school recruit Marcus Stokes made headlines after it was revealed that he lost his scholarship to the University of Florida after the school discovered footage of him using the N-word.
The decision made by the University of Florida to revoke his scholarship offer led to several other Power 5 conference schools rescinding offers as well. But in a strange twist, Stokes finds himself fielding a scholarship offer from Albany State University which is a prominent Historically Black College/University.
Stokes receiving an offer from an HBCU has left more questions than answers as many wonder why Albany State would offer a scholarship to a now-controversial white student-athlete.
