On Tuesday (January 17), a post made by the Twitter page Raphousetv sparked a debate after they posted a photo that asked, "Is this Chicago Mt. Rushmore Valid?" The post included a photo of G Herbo, Lil Durk, King Von, and Chief Keef depicted as the faces on Mount Rushmore.

The post quickly spread across Twitter, with many people questioning the artists that were featured. Some people questioned why Kanye, despite his recent controversies, wasn't included. Others named Common and Twista as other Chicago powerhouses that should've been included, along with multiple Grammy award-winning artist Chance the Rapper. Lupe Fiasco's name was also thrown into the conversation.

While on the "Big Facts" podcast in 2021, G Herbo named his Mount Rushmore of Chicago rap, as he explained, "For Chicago, it'll be Sosa, Durk, Juice WLRD, umm… Polo, and myself…. I feel like what we doing now, it’s a little different."
