Recently, Funk Flex hopped on Instagram to speak about the rise of rappers cooperating with police in high-profile cases.
Flex went on to say, “I’m no longer not ‘not’ playing 6ix 9ine music anymore! (speaking for myself only).” He continued, “The trend amongst a lot of current (since and before 6ix 9ine) consists of cooperating and testifying!”
The DJ said many of your favorite artists cooperate with law enforcement before threatening to call out names. Flex concluded by saying, “Bobby Shmurda, Rowdy Rebel, Fetty Wap, Boosie, and Young Thug are the last of that stand-up tradition.” From there, Boosie chimed in with his thoughts on Flex’s comments.
