The Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez trial found Lanez being convicted for shooting the Texas rapper and reportedly facing the possibility of a 22-year sentence in prison and being deported. While on Instagram, Lanez’s father, Sonstar Peterson, addressed topics including Megan Thee Stallion and a journalist he felt was acting out for “clout.”

Peterson noted that his son and their family “have long decided that we are not going to hold any animosity against Megan Pete a.k.a. Megan Thee Stallion.” He continued saying, “Some will no doubt actually question: is he actually saying that Tory forgave Megan for all of what’s going on? Yes, we have forgiven her. But what we will not back down from is the machine.”

From there, Peterson then talked about journalist Meghann Cuniff, saying, “You have persons like this journalist Meghann Cuniff. This woman actually went on and said that she saw my wife and I giving transcripts or leaking information to certain journalists to put out on the internet.” He questioned why the DA would give him information to put out to make his son look worse? He then said Cuniff “was saying things for the sake of clout.” Watch above.
