Update 12/13/2022 4:22pm:

As previously reported, Megan Thee Stallion took the stand on day two of her trial against Tory Lanez, who she says shot her during an argument in 2020.

Los Angeles Times reporter James Queally was in the court room during Megan's statement, and he covered everything on Twitter. Queally reported that Meg was on the stand for 45 minutes, and she detailed the night of the shooting, claiming that an argument about Kelsey Nicole Harris and Megan both sleeping with Tory began in the SUV.

From there, Megan testified that the argument turned to her and Tory's career, and she insulted him by speaking down on his stature in the industry. Megan said that she wanted to get out of the SUV at that point, but she was afraid of being photographed in the thong bikini she was wearing. After getting out of the SUV, Megan claims that Tory shot her after yelling, "Dance, b*tch!"

When it comes to her not initially saying that Tory shot her, Megan testified that she feared that telling on Tory could hurt her career, as she described the industry as a "big boy's club." Megan added that she also feared that the officers at the scene would shoot Tory and ask questions later if she told them that he shot her.

Megan also told the courtroom that Tory, Kelsey, and Tory's bodyguard were stunned after Tory fired the gun. She also claimed that he offered her $1 million to keep quiet about the shooting because he was on probation and feared going to jail.

During day two of Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion's trial, Megan took the stand. According to Rolling Stone senior reporter Nancy Dillion, Megan was called as a witness to the stand at 11:15 am.

Dillon added, "Her voice cracked on 1st question, when asked if she knew Daystar Peterson." Dillion stated that Megan "quickly regained composure," and when asked if she was "nervous," she replied, "I just don't feel good. I can't believe I have to come up here and do this."

During opening statements in the case, it was revealed that both Tory and Megan's friend, Kelsey Nicole Harris, tested positive for gun residue after the shooting incident in 2020. Then, the prosecution revealed that Harris would testify in the trial that she saw Tory shoot Megan.

George Mgdesyan, Tory's attorney, began his opening statement by claiming that the case was fueled by jealousy between Kelsey and Megan, who Mgdesyan claims slept with Tory, DaBaby, and NBA star Ben Simmons. Mgdesyan also addressed a phone call of Tory apologizing to Harris, which he says was because Tory cheated on her with Megan.
