According to reports, Bill Cosby is now facing a lawsuit from five women, with a majority of the women being involved with ‘The Cosby Show’ at one point. The women claim the comedian sexually assaulted them.

The lawsuit finds the women claiming Cosby acted as if he were going to mentor them as they tried to break into show business during the 1980s and 1990s. However, Cosby allegedly took advantage of the women at some point.

Cindra Ladd, Jennifer Thompson, Jewel Gittens, Eden Tirl, and Lili Bernard were named as plaintiffs, and all claim the actor was able to take advantage of their vulnerability.

Lili Bernard, who made a guest appearance on ‘The Cosby Show’ in 1992, described a situation where Cosby drugged and assaulted her several times. One alleged incident found her waking up during being raped, with Cosby trying to smother her with a pillow. After threatening to go to the police, Bernard claims Cosby threw her down a flight of steps. She didn’t file a police report because she said she feared for her life.

Bill Cosby’s PR representative Andrew Wyatt spoke to TMZ about the recent accusers, saying they filed a “frivolous” suit because they aren’t willing to accept that Cosby was absolved in his Pennsylvania criminal case. Additionally, Wyatt said the women named in the lawsuit are “all about money.” Cosby has denied the new allegations. Stay tuned for more updates.
