DJ Vlad recently took to Twitter and said if Saweetie did an interview with his platform, “she would have easily done 10x her first week sales, which was 2000 copies.” Since then, Saweetie responded to Vlad, noting she is a fan of the brand and said if anyone reached out, “it wasn’t to me or my team.” Now, Vlad has hopped on Twitter to tell the entire story, along with receipts.

In a series of tweets, Vlad laid out the timeline of reaching out to Saweetie for an interview, which was met with a no due to Warner Bros Sr. VP of Publicity Aishah White. Vlad then noted the decision to say no to the interview for Saweetie was made by White without asking her or any other Warner Brothers artist.

From there, Baller Alert responded to Vlad and noted they had the same experience with Saweetie’s publicist. From there, Vlad spoke about label publicists who funnel interviews to their friends instead bigger platforms for their artists while providing multiple examples of artists. Take a look above.
