According to reports, the Trump campaign is looking to do some damage control after the former president dined with the now-toxic Kanye West and white supremacist Nick Fuentes at his Mar-a-Lago property earlier this week.
Trump's team is now calling the pre-Thanksgiving meal a "f***** nightmare" as it potentially has the potential to derail his presidential bid. 45 himself took to the social media platform Truth Social to address the meeting. “This past week, Kanye West called me to have dinner at Mar-a-Lago. Shortly thereafter, he unexpectedly showed up with three of his friends, whom I knew nothing about,” Trump wrote. “We had dinner on Tuesday evening with many members present on the back patio. The dinner was quick and uneventful,” Trump said. “They then left for the airport.”
Per NBC News, a longtime Trump adviser who spoke on the condition of anonymity said "This is a f---ing nightmare," adding, "If people are looking at [Florida Gov. Ron] DeSantis to run against Trump, here's another reason why."
