Part 6: Saigon & Ali Vegas on Kanye: They'll Assasinate You or Kill Your Character
Part 1: Saigon & Ali Vegas on Kanye Saying His Mom was "Sacrificed", Dissing Jay-Z & Beyonce

--------

In this clip, Saigon and Ali Vegas continued to discuss the Kanye West situation and how it is indicative of how “unreal” money actually is. Saigon then opened up about his fear of Puffy and couldn’t pinpoint where the fear came from but Ali noted that Saigon didn’t know how Puff would “destroy” him which caused the fear. They also continued to discuss the nefarious inner workings of the music industry and why some artists make it big while others don’t.
Later in the conversation, Ali recounted getting signed and having people compare him to Nas, which at that juncture in hip hop wasn’t necessarily a stamp of approval. Ali also noted how newer artists (at the time) like J. Cole were being compared to him.

In this clip, Saigon and Ali Vegas continued to speak about what it will take to bring change in the Black community, and Saigon explained that there’s no unity without community. From there, Saigon addressed Kanye saying that his mother was sacrificed, which he questioned is a real statement. Ali Vegas then stated that Kanye’s career continued to go up after his mother’s death, and he also addressed the men connected to the Kardashian women, including his cousin, Lamar Odom. Ali explained that the men who have dated or married the Kardashians forfeit their privacy, which he thinks leads to their downfall. Saigon then brought up cancel culture and people saying that DaBaby is canceled, and Ali pointed out that the people who are “canceled” are popping. Saigon went on to speak about famed engineer/producer Young Guru telling him that he’s serious about being on the frontline for the younger generation.
