City officials in Chesapeake, Virginia, are releasing more information about the events leading up to Walmart employee Andre Bing killing 6 co-workers the day before Thanksgiving.

The City of Chesapeake's official Twitter page shared a "death note" found on Bing's phone, which included redacted names of employees that Bing was targeting in the incident. In the note, Bing claimed he was being bullied by co-workers, and he also believed that his phone was hacked.

Bing wrote in the note, "Sorry everyone but I did not plan this I promise things just fell in place like I was led by the Satan." He later added, "My only wish would have been to start over from scratch and that my parents would have paid closer attention to my social deficit."

The city's Twitter page also revealed that the 9mm handgun used in the incident "was legally purchased from a local store on the morning of Tuesday, November 22, 2022." They added that Bing "had no criminal history" and that a box of ammunition was found in Bing's home, as well as "various items in reference to the 9mm handgun (box, receipt, other paperwork)."
