Since making her debut with RCA records back in 2020, Latto has released two critically acclaimed studio albums, Queen of da Souf & 777. Both LPs feature a litany of all-star artists features from rappers such as 21 Savage, City Girls, Kodak Black, Childish Gambino, and Lil Wayne. But after 130 of Latto's unreleased songs were leaked earlier this week, fans of the 23-year-old have shifted their attention to the assortment of demo tracks that she recorded, which features her demo vocals (on behalf of other artists such as Coi Leray and BIA) and the heavy presence of ghostwriters most notably a songwriter named London Jae, who allegedly wrote "Whole Lotta Money." The leaks prompted speculation on Twitter about London Jae's role in her song, which eventually garnered a response from BIA about the aforementioned song.
“No London jae wrote the hook,” she tweeted. “I wrote the pre and verse it’s not rocket science.”
To that, Latto also took to Twitter to share her thoughts.
“I’ll post em my got damn self,” she wrote. “They’ll all tell u I WRITE TOO! I heard a few of ur refs before they came out too boo. U forgot WE ALL collab w the same writers?? Difference is I don’t deny it. The world seen me writing since 16 on national TV tho.”
