According to reports, ‘Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers’ star Jason David Frank has died due to suicide.
The actor, a mixed martial artist, died in Texas at 49. The news was confirmed by Frank’s representative—Justine Hunt. The actor was a trained MMA fighter who knew Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, and Taekwondo. Frank was known for his role as Tommy Oliver in the storied martial arts superhero series. His role in the ‘Power Rangers’ series found him being the Green Ranger, who was once an enemy of the Power Rangers. Eventually, he transitioned into the White Ranger and was a lead on the series for 123 episodes.
Frank’s time with the Power Rangers didn’t stop there, as he returned for newer franchises like ‘Ninja Steel,’ ‘Wild Force,’ and ‘HyperForce.’
The actor is reportedly survived by his four children.
